Field Experience

Field Experience: Learning activities designed for the teacher candidate to develop professional competence through observing, assisting, or teaching.

Teacher Candidates who are working with PK-12 students in a classroom setting either as an educator, known as a Teacher of Record (TOR), or as an educational assistant (paraeducator, instructional assistant, classified staff, etc.) may complete all required Field Experience hours as part of their positions.

    Offers participation in professional experience in public schools.  May be repeated for credit. Pass/No Pass.
    Prerequisite(s): Admission to the College of Education
  • EDLL 365: Clinical Observation
    Provides participation in a professional experience in public schools. Pass/No Pass.
  • EDUC 650: Field Experience
    Provides participation in a professional experience in public schools. May be repeated for credit. Pass/No Pass
