Suite of Resources
- Supervision Protocol
- This protocol must be followed by Cooperating Teachers & University Supervisors for formal observations of candidates.
- Culturally Responsive Indicator Enriched Evaluation Tool (CRIEET)
- The rubric standards in the left column are taken directly from our Mid-Placement & Summary Evaluation Form.
- The center column describes some (not an exhaustive list of) observable, culturally responsive practices that meet each standard in the left column.
- Note: all of these practices do not exist in classrooms all of the time. Candidates should build their teaching practice towards meeting all standards across many days and lessons.
- Optional templates for formal observations of candidates:
- Culturally Responsive Observation Tool. The PDF a fillable form and will work best with Adobe Acrobat Reader (free download)
- Word Observation Notes Template
- Critical Reflection Questions
- Teacher candidates should use these questions to self-reflect as they teach and grow in their practice. The questions are aligned to the six main rubric areas on the Mid-Placement & Summary Evaluation Form.
