My introduction to the world of occupational therapy came from experiences supporting holistic employment solutions for people experiencing developmental, intellectual, or acquired disabilities. My experience comes from both sides of the country, in urban and rural environments, during economic recessions and booms, but always through outstanding organizations. I have had the pleasure of working for Irene Wortham Center in Asheville, NC and for United Cerebral Palsy of Oregon in Portland.
