Hello! My name is Dani Depuy-Grobbel and I am excited to be a part of the PhDEL cohort. I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area (and will forever love my Niners)! I also love with my two fur-babies (my dogs, Buster and Higgins) who I know will emotionally support my educational journey by helping me stay active and in nature! ;) I've worked in the field of education for 15 years and currently serve as the Director of Residence Life at a university in Portland. I am passionate about education and access to equitable education for all. I am excited to learn from my faculty and peers in this program, and I can't wait to dive into research on how to we can shape the educational climate to serve every individual instead of a/the majority.
