Our Mission
NEW GROUND BOOKSÂ publishes writers who use language to explore their own experiences and cultural traditions in order to strengthen identity and expand understanding. We are especially interested in printing books of poetry, short stories, and hybrid forms by authors of cultures and groups that have been largely underrepresented in mainstream publishing.
NEW GROUND BOOKS is an imprint of Pacific University Press.
