Manage the front desk to assist in returns, check-outs, reserves, incoming mail, and movie ticket sales for patrons. Fulfill interlibrary loan and SUMMIT system requests and returns, and help with any general inquiries.

Prioritize faculty RUSH requests over daily labeling duties, and create barcodes, scan, security strip, and label books with hot plate. Handle serial books as well as monograph books. Cover books with plastic covers if necessary, conduct minor repairs if necessary, shelve, sort, and deliver book carts interdepartmentally.

Assist students with academic issues, handle confidential/sensitive transcripts and information protected by FERPA, and conduct presentations in the residence halls on varying topics such as: majors, minors, careers, picking classes, registration, general education requirements, university requirements, etc. Conduct one-on-one appointments in the Human Ecology Department to advise on the major and varying minors. Create comprehensive study plans and handle clerical responsibilities such as filing and data entry.

Residence Hall Advising Team Revamp Committee (2015-2016):
Assess effectiveness of current residence hall programs and engage in the development of new presentation scripts for residence hall advisors to utilize when working with students.

Conduct admissions presentations and 1.5 hour walking campus tours of the university to prospective students and families, as well as other small or large groups. Answer various questions about the university and student life on the spot, and engage group in experiencing UC Davis. Answer phone calls, emails, and messages in the Undergraduate Admissions department. Handle transcripts, official/confidential documents, and general or specific questions regarding student admission.

Responsible for care and/or education of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in an all inclusive, healthy environment. Facilitate feeding, activities, and play. Keep children and space clean.

Introduce first year and transfer students to the university. Serve as role model and resource for incoming students and families that may be involved in the orientation process. Lead class registration sessions, campus tours, and teach general education requirements, university requirements, and other campus rules and regulations.
