picture of me I am an Adjunct Instructor and University Supervisor here at Pacific. My research interests include, social emotional learning, mindfulness practices for p-20 education and inclusive pedagogy and practice. I earned a B.A. in philosophy from Southern Illinois University and an M.Ed. from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. My passion for travel has allowed me to live all over the world, but my career in education began in the South Pacific. I taught special education on the island of Saipan, the Big Island of Hawaii and in the Beaverton School District. I have been studying yoga and meditation for over 25 years and I am currently learning martial arts. I live in the forest with my husband, our two children, a cat and seven chickens. Some of my passions include, traveling, diving, cooking,  tropical gardening and dancing.
