Welcome! My name is Karolyn Ismay and I work at Pacific University’s Forest Grove campus as an Area Coordinator and Deputy Title IX Coordinator in the departments of Residence Life and Student Conduct in the Division of Student Affairs. I have been working in Student Affairs for 8 years in various departments including Academic Advising and Student Activities/Government and in various different institution types from large public universities to small private colleges. After living and working in Colorado, South Carolina, and Wisconsin, I am happy to call Oregon home again.

While my academic and professional background is in Student Affairs, I find that different fields have strategies and knowledge that enrich my work in incredibly valuable ways. My research interests include the intersections of evidence based higher education policy/administration, diversity, organizational change, neuroeducation, and training.

Portland, Oregon is my home along with my husband and our dog Madison. I love traveling, eating, and visiting family in Argentina.
