Welcome! My name is Talina Corvus. I am a physical therapist and adjunct faculty member to Pacific University’s School of Physical Therapy. My clinical practice is centered around geriatrics. I currently coordinate an Outpatient Physical Therapy program within a geriatric residential community where I also work in Home Health and Skilled Nursing settings. As an instructor for the Physical Therapy program, I assist in lab portions of Physical Agents, I teach the Massage portion of Physical Agents, and I will be teaching Therapeutic Exercise this spring, a course I have been an assistant instructor in for the past two years. I have conducted research looking into the barriers to the use of Physical Therapy within community health centers, and my current research interests revolve around the intersection of mobility, aging, culture and geography, educating for self-efficacy, and physical health in under-served populations. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Physiology, a Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy, and I am licensed and certified in Massage Therapy. I am a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association’s Section on Geriatrics.
My hobbies and interests include martial arts, music, international travel, road trips, staring at sculptures, small scale farming, running, and outdoor adventuring with my family.
