Forest Grove CrossFit’s Youth Fitness Program provides a fun and safe community for children to experience challenge, build confidence, engage in team work, play games, make friends, and encourage life-long habits to promote positive health and well-being. It is important to us to help create a supportive environment for all, as well as a welcoming community. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive program, inviting all, regardless of differing abilities.

In our classes, we target CrossFit’s 3 major modalities of workouts: gymnastics, weightlifting, and monostructural metabolic conditioning (cardio), while educating about healthy nutrition, stretching/mobility, and recovery. Exercise benefits include preventing/assisting in decreasing, and managing obesity, attention-deficit-disorder, heart disease, type 2 diabetes, depression, and countless more.

Our workouts are structured specifically to the developmental age groups of the children to help enhance motor, cognitive, and neurological development. We encourage kids of all goal ranges to come train with us whether you are an in-season/off-season athlete, trying to make a team, or just to participate recreationally. There are many short term and long term benefits from staying fit to helping kids form early healthy habits.
